 Please provide your child with an appropriately sized healthy snack. Children need healthy snacks to help them grow and stay healthy. Snacking isn’t bad for kids, but what they snack on is important. If you give your child healthy snacks now, he or she will learn to make healthy food choices in the future.  Proper nutrition and hydration can definitely boost thinking and learning.  Below are some friendly suggestions for healthy snacks. 
    Cut up fruit / veggies
•    water
•    String cheese

yogurt

•    Plain pretzels
•    Popcorn (buttered/plain)
•    Graham Crackers /cheese and crackers

Unhealthy Snacks:

Pop Tarts, Chocolate bars, Chocolate chip cookies,  Fruit Loops Cereal etc.
